I am Eaty. Thank you for the interest. I will open a new thread and explain my system tomorrow.

Hi,

Can anyone here pls help me on how to use the EA. As i am new to EA. I tried to use it but found that there is alot problem. Not sure is my problem or the EA problem. Can anyone pls help out here? Below is how i use it, for real time demo and strategy tester.

I tried in 5 digit and 4 digit platform with the same way. Both seem like not working correctly. (I am not sure this EA is design for 5 or 4 digit so i tested both just in case.)

For strategy tester:
1. Ctrl + R
2. Expert Advisor: load Eaty v1.0
    Symbol: GBPJPY
    Model: Every tick
    Use date from: 2009.07.01 To: 2009.07.08
    Visual mode: tick
    Period H4
3. In expert properties i only change the MACDLevel i change to 0.3. (I believe my MACD is different from MACD in the EA.)
4. then i start.

For real time demo:
1. Open new GbpJpy chart without any indicator.
2. Open Navigator and drag the Eaty v1.0 into the chart.
3. Common tab i chk the allow live trading.
4. Input tab again i change the MACDLevel to 0.3.
5. Then ok. I can see Eaty v1.0 

Above is how i use both for real time demo and strategy tester. If i use it right then i notice some errors as stated below:
For strategy tester:
a. It is not opening trade base on my sys.

ai. 2009.07.01 0.00 we get the signal to buy at a.
Info for candle a. H:159.21
Info for candle b. H:159.65
Info for candle c. H:159.97
Info for dash dot green line:159.91
info for solid blue line: 159.37 (This is candle a + 16pips)
aii. Eaty EA v1.0 open the trade at candle b instead of candle a. As we can see the market price cut through the blue line. So mean that there should be 3 trade open there.
b. No re-entering, after the market price hit the original point.
c. The BE+1 is not working properly. In my result it only BE and not BE+1.
d. Unable to chk the SL as there is not display of the SL in the result.

For real time demo:
a. I not sure what really happen the trade some time open 2 set of trade.
b. It close my trade automatically without hitting SL i mention.
c. Entry not as mention in my system.

My silly personal question?
a. When running EA, trade open why i never see EA set the SL and TP?
b. I am not sure but i testing 4 and 5 digit platform. Found that Eaty v1.0 performing weird in 5 digits platform. So i use 4 digit for further testing.

can u kindly add a day/time filter most of the lossing trades are picked at the when the pair is not liquid enough

The pending orders are placed after candle a has closed, at the beginning of candle b.
b. No re-entering, after the market price hit the original point.
I shall check this issue.
c. The BE+1 is not working properly. In my result it only BE and not BE+1.
The cause may be the absence of tick data when backtesting.
d. Unable to chk the SL as there is not display of the SL in the result.
Isn't it displayed on the screen?

Stop loss and take profit are hidden.

The EA is designed for 4 and 5 digits brokes. What problems did you have with 5 digits?

Glad to know you back online. These are the question in my mind, pls advice. Thank you for the answer.

Q2. aii. Is the data taken from strategic tester. It buy at Dash dot green line rather then the Blue line. If according to my system it should buy at 2 RSI cross and Green MACD. Which is at candle a. The pending order should be at the blue line. From the picture i shown you Eaty V1 buy at high of candle b. Which are wrong. It is not pending after the candle a.

d. When i last test it never show but i will chk ag.

This is what i encounter during EA live demo.

GJ

1. See the clock in the chart. It is not yet close of the candle.
2. It open multiple trade... more then 3.
3. Wrong entry and too many trade open.

Pls look into this problem as well. Thank you in advance.

I see the hidden sl and tp already. It is on the top left of the screen.
