This is an expert advisor based on 123 pattern. You can download it here. There is also a Forexfactory thread.

Hi xux99.
                Very interesting EA.
I have read the thread at FF and also manual trading 123 thread.
Problem I have with EA is that I have tried everything I can think of, but am unable to open trades in back testing. No errors in journal.
Could you provide a setfile that you use , so that at least I can start testing the EA. I am fairly experience with EA's so I'm not sure what's going wrong.
Someone at FF suggested trying to turn ECN on, but this option has been removed and now is auto I presume..
Thanks

Opto123 backtests

Hi fx4a

I can backtest it with default settings. Try a fresh Alpari Metatrader install, download historical data from history center and backtest it on M5 timeframe.

Hi xux99,
Would it be possible to add Entry by Trend line break, rather than just exit.
The option to use this attached indy rather than zigzag.

Hi fx4a

I don't think your indicator has any advantages compared to ZigZag. Trend lines are on the opposite direction of the trade so they can only trigger an exit.

A negative buffer value means that entry occurs below point 2 level for longs or above for shorts.

Was this EA revised in recent times at all?
